An alter ego (Latin, "the other I") is another self, a second personality within a person. Popping up in literature, music and art, the alter ego allows one to play, explore and step outside the expected.  Alter egos are often the secret identities of superheroes, vigilantes and crime fighters, donning masks and disguises as they slip into their other persona and out into the night. vonBlack is the painterly alter ego of Marcos Sorensen, a free-flowing & visceral response to the day's work as computer illustrator and designer with 20 years experience.
